Current band blog: We are very pleased to be performing at the
Temple Beth Am Shushan Ball on March 22 6 pm. Joining
us for a set will be the "Russian Diva" Cantor Marina Belenky.
Some members of the band are part of String Theory Shabbat service
at Temple Beth Am. I created this service to showcase contemporary music for strings and rhythm section. Come see us on the

Klez Kids:
A ensemble of 40+ youths who perform in the Seattle Area sponsored by Temple Beth Am.
We currently have participants from age 8 and Up
Temple Beth Am Choir: A 25 piece choir that performs at Temple Beth Am for services. We
have released our debut CD: "Sing a new Song"
Kid's chorus: A children's choir of youths 8-14 year's old

About the Band:
Shawn's Kugel was formed in the 1997 and has performed all over
the NorthWest in festivals and simcha's. We are considered the premier Jewish band in the Northwest. In 2007, we were voted
Seattle's best Jewish Band by the readers of JT News. Shawn Weaver is the leader of the band and played woodwinds/mandolin with the Mazeltones for 9 years. Mazeltones The band has released 3 CD's: "Simcha!", "Most Precious of Days"
and "Finger Play".
Kugel performs not only Klezmer & Sephardic, but also contemporary
Chassidic, Reggae, Jazz and some Rock & Roll. We pride ourselves on our musicianship and our ability to provide the ultimate
simcha. Shawn organizes and teaches traditional dances at each performance. Shawn also writes a personal composition for some
events, (As time permits) which is framed and presented to the Chosen/Kalle and or Bar/Bat. If you are contemplating using
