• The setting of the story (chapter) is clearly shown show others can tell where and when the story takes place
• The main characters are carefully made so others can tell who they are
• Without words, the plot of the story is shown so others know what the characters are doing the in the setting
• A written summary is attached describing the scene in a clear and interesting way
• Summary has been proofread for meaning, grammar, and spelling
• Diorama is visually attractive
• The overall presentation is neatly done

2 Progressing

• Diorama meets 5-6 of the criteria for Proficient
• More work is needed
