• Interview consists of 6-8 thought-provoking, open-ended questions, along with thoughtful, satisfying answers
• As a team, all characters (interviewer, Esperanza Ortega, and one to two additional characters from the novel)
  • are very familiar with both their questions and their answers (from their written scripts!)
  • conduct the interview in a logical manner
  • speak in a clear, audible, expressive voice, make eye contact with each other, make eye contact with the audience, do not detract the audience with unnecessary fidgeting or gestures
