Every time I try to get on the
Survivor site it freezes. See if you can get through....

We're really addicted. Did I tell you that already? I'v been missing Dawson's Creek, but I haven't really been following it this season. I think I'm getting too old for it. (Ya think?)

I don't usually watch T.V. that much anymore. We always go overboard at Hollywood Video and end up getting 4 or 5 movies and then we have to watch all of them before we return them in 5 days...if we return them in 5 days. It's such a trap!
By the way, we've seen Twin Warriors with Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh about 3 times because Phil keeps forgetting he's seen it already. We never really tire of it though...

Survivor has become our must see. Wednesday is the night to stay in now, Friends just doesn't cut it now. We do wish we were extravagant enough to pay the cable bill because then we could just watch the Real World. Can someone just tape it for us?

Things are slowly getting back to normal...

Be proud of me, that I wasn't a morning person wannabe today. Tomorrow is another story though.

I've been finding some cool stuff lately!

You can
confess your sins online! I don't think this is advocated by the Catholic Church, but if you don't like the new face to face confessions, you can try this. Actually, I think a priest would judge you less than some of the responses written to those who've confessed.

Here's what I've looked at so far today...
christine: christine aften says something that hits so close to home that I think she's reading my mind. The latest girl entry mentions 15 cent ice cream cones at Thirfty. Oh my god!! Lolo used to take me there during those summer's in Vallejo...too wierd...

Faith: Funny story about going to the bathroom in a restaurant. No wonder girls always go in groups.

Ember.org: Wow...First Love stories...romance is so cool...

chickclick : Check it out, girls...Just something to do, when you can't think of anything else to do.

Beatboxbetty: Entertainment news, just because I'm so nosey!

Julie and Ryan, We already miss you guys! I'm glad you liked our home. Maybe you'll consider moving here.

What a great party! Congratulations Mara! I love you!

MARA ROCKS!

I had lumpia duty as usually. It's a not so glamourous job(I smelled like lumpia all day), but it has it's rewards...By the time we served the cake, there were only a few pieces left. I'm glad everyone enjoyed it. When Kortni turns thirteen, she's going to take over the frying part. I'm going to make her wear safety goggles though. She already knows when they're about to be burnt.

So here's an alternative
summer reading list. Oprah isn't the only one that reads, you know.

Read Helen, Sweetheart of the Internet daily. I think it's a really cute cartoon.

That's all I have for today. If you find a cool site email me

I started reading
getcrafty. My kind to sight.
I want to get into decorating, but I haven't had time to go shopping. I just want to spend time at my place lately.

Nat is on vacation and her guest blogger posted this survey on her site. Kinda fun....

That's all I have today! Does anyone even read this? Tell me, if you do...

I've just discovered
Loobylu!
I love those cute illustrations.
She also has a very good link-olas page.

It's fun to look at the Illustrators' pages. There's hope for you yet Jusy.

Here's some more hope for you. Graffiti can be beautiful!!!!

I brought some leftover cuchinta to work and I don't think these white folks here like it too much...I don't feel bad though. I didn't make it, it was ordered from someplace and it is a somewhat aquired taste. It's not like chocolate....

Now that I've returned to earth, I can watch some movies that I've missed...
Our video pick for this weekend was
Dogma.
Most of the people in our video group fell asleep.
There is a lot of dialog, but I still thought it was cool. I always thought God is a woman...

For a bit of raunchiness we enjoyed Road Trip.
It was funny.

I just want to go home and take a nap. Can someone bring a bowl of soup and some hot tea to me, for my dinner in bed? 8pm sounds like a good time and then I'll go back to sleep...

We're in
California tonight...the ninth day...
It's been a long goodbye to Lola. We made it through it though.
Ben and Sally together again, forever...

We're headed back home tomorrow. We'll have a little party.
And things will slowly get back to normal. Thanks to everyone who had us in our prayers

Meg's entry about "dreaming with" someone...

I belive that's true, because I dreamt of Lola last night. After I saw her, I woke up so I would remember that she "dreamt with" me. She was laughing and she waved at me.

...the next few days will be hard to get through, but continue your prayers for us...

thanks,

My life has been full to bad news lately...
Did you hear about
Tito Puente? I went to see him play a couple years back at the jazz alley. His show was really great and he was so much fun. He said the he had to call his music "Latin Jazz", just so he could play at the Jazz alley. Before the show, he was back by the women's restroom warming up. Gab and I said hi to him and he said, "Hola, Como esta?" He was a really cool little man...

Oye Como Va!
