...for the 20 something year. The girls are ready, but we're listed as Las Estrellitas - Phillipino Folk Dancing Someone sure doesn't know how to spell.
For our intermission(while the girls are changing), we're having break dancing. I have no other connections...It's gonna be great.
I saw featured on The early show this morning. Thought it would be a good book for any home owner, not just women. It even includes pictures of all the tools you need for each job.
Looking back at our home repairs and updates. Philip does a good job at figureing out how to do things, but sometimes expert help is needed. Research on www.google.com always offers some options. and Teamwork for decision making is good sometimes, as long as you don't drive eachother crazy.
Like jo said, "like that intense...to the point that all i could do is eeyaks because i was surrounded by folks...friends and family who stood there to say that it is going to be ok"
...it was the same at our wedding, with everyone in the church with their hands outstreched towards us giving us blessing. I just remember nudging Philip and saying, "WOW!" So much love focused on us and the family that we're building.
No Bumbershoot... Ray and Karen are visiting from San Diego/Las Vegas. So we did the tourist thing...Friday, dinner at Thai Garden on Broadway, split up with them to pick up Jayme Jaym from Bumbershoot. Hung out w/ the 3 HS seniors @ Pochi. Run them all home and then retired for the evening. Phil kept waking at every sound waiting for Ray & Karen to get home. I guess he forgot that I gave them a key....Saturday, Cooked breakfast for hubby and guests, then primping for the 5th Wedding of the Summer. Congratulations to Jay & Alvie! Sweet and simple ceremony and reception. They got to ring the bells at Seattle U chapel. Home before 10pm. I fell asleep on the couch while everyone else watched Vanilla Sky.(Phil told me what happened anyway, so no need to watch it again.)...Sunday, 10 am mass, Lunch with the family, home for a nap. I slept about 1 1/2 hours while Ray & Karen were asleep for 3 +. Phil finally woke them up to venture out to Snoqualamie Falls. Hiked all the way down to the base and trespassed off the trail. Picked up Krispie Kreams on the way back. Cooked Sinigang for Ray's cold...Monday, I was just so happy to have a day away from work! Lounged around in the morning, eventually took the tourists on a downtown excursion. Parked at Myrtle Edwards Park, took Trolley down the waterfront to Pier 56. Walked up steps to Pike Place, ate Piroshky and apple juice for snack. Walked up the hill to the shopping district Westlake, Pacific Place, Nordstrom. Then walked all the way back down to Waterfront. Enjoyed the Festival of India! Listened to 5 songs with the same words by the Hare Krishna Rock band. Listened to Ray and Philip sing, "Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare..." over and over again. Karen experienced her first Seattle Rain. Showed Karen the mummies at Ye Old Curiosity Shop and then caught the Trolley back to our car. WOW! Ray & Karen napped again when we got home. "Should we let them sleep the whole night or wake them up for dinner?"...
Packed full, huh? Groggy today, weaning myself from caffine...Peppermint tea is a good substitute...
