Stories from the water cooler...
So my coworker tells me of a bizarre encounter in the Men's room. He's in there doing his business and he hears someone talking from inside the stall. Seems that the guy is in there using the cell phone. Then my co-worker hears, "Excuse me for a moment." There's a pause(the guy wiping up) and then the toilet flushes. The guy emerges from the stall and proceeds with his business call while he washes his hands.

Isn't that just disgusting! EWWW!

An ordinary Weekend update

On Friday, we celebrated Jussy's birthday with dinner out. Mom made him a birthday Apple pie...

Saturday, we headed across the sound the visit JonP's Lolo & Lola. Mom Tessie found the right brand to make Thai Iced tea. It works well in the ice tea maker. We lounged in their bedroom and watched TFC. It's amazing how I can watch hours and hours of TV and only understand 10% of the words. I know I was annoying Philip, asking, "What did he/she say?"

Sunday, We went to mass and headed to Philip's company picnic. Free Food and activities. We watched a pig show, got to look at some barnyard animals(I only wanted to pet the bunny), went on a hay ride and through the Washington State Corn Maze. JonP was a hit with all of Philip's co-workers. At home, we had a nice dinner of fried eggs, spicy spam, sardines in tomato sauce, rice and boiled beats.

Bummed...
There's two co-workers leaving today. It's such a downer...One of them is my chitchat buddy, whom is the only other woman in our group. I'm gonna miss her and work is gonna suck even more now. I'll just try to hang on. Everything looks OK for now, but who knows what will happen. We'll deal with it if anything does happen.

Phil and I have decided to consolidate our funds to one account. That way we can check eachother and budget ourselves. We've begun to think up a plan for JonP's college fund. Imagine, 4 months old and college already blinks in his sparkling eyes. You find out after you've become a parent that all parents think their child will capture the world...It's nice to know that at least two people thought I was capable of doing it all...

I hope all your dreams come true. I can't believe my baby brother is approaching his mid-twenties.

Weekend update
JonP got his 4 - 4 month shots on Thursday, so he was feeling kinda icky the whole weekend. When we emerged from the injection room, he was still sniveling in his daddy's arms. This nervous teenage girl was waiting outside for her turn. She says, "Did he get a shot?!" Philip replied, "Yeah, 4." She says, "OMIGOD! ARE YOU SERIOUS?"

On Friday night, we had a scheduled ADULT night at Djan's request. Gab, Djan, Amie, Phil and I stuffed ourselved at Bucca de Beppo. Good company. good food, good conversation. We sure smelled of garlic when we got home.

On Saturday was the Pendon August Birthday party. We picnicked by the baseball field. We played Volleyball, softball(you shoulda seen my hit), basketball(We sure suck @ b-ball), football, and water balloon toss. At gift time, there were so many birthday people it felt like Christmas. We stayed until the sun went down and the mosquitos drove us away.

Sunday was our visiting day up north. Short visit with the Lee family in Everett. I got Helen's kids some toys & Helen got JonP some toys.
Then over to Snohomish to fel&janet's. Fun BBQ, with gourmet burgers & Brats. Fel's got the home improvement bug...I think he should come over to our house so we can catch it too!

If I couldn't remember if I'd given JonP a bath this week, don't ya think its time to give him a bath?

We brought our busy boy JonP to a wedding and reception this past weekend. He was so happy they were getting married, he cooed for joy while the bride & groom were saying their vows. At the reception we did the Electric Slide together. He wore his blue Aloha outfit. But just like a party nightmare another baby wore a similar blue Aloha outfit! The grandmother of the other boy, kept walking by us and saying, "You've got my baby!"

Our weekend was pretty good...
Ray came in Thursday night, but wouldn't sleep on the cot I made up for him in JonP's nursery. The guys hung out on Friday, while I was at work. They brought JonP back to me a little hungry, which made me a little nervous. JonP didn't care as long as he got his fill when he was with me.
Judy's flight ended up getting cancelled.

Philip made Ray and I pepperjack omelets. Judy's rescheduled flight made it to San Fransisco, but the airplane to Seattle got hit by a baggage truck and got a hole in the side. So we went to Darv & Hoven's and ate cheap DimSum...Then hung out and watched the Japanese Channel...We took Ray to Sam's Club to buy some diapers, while he eyed the TV's. Judy finally got in @ 11pm.(24 hours after she was supposed to arrive)

JonP was babtised & he didn't tinkle in the water. He was dipped in naked and started kicking his feet around. So many people came to celebrate him. That mean's so many people LOVE him. He was passed around all day, and was only returned to me for feedings and dirty diapers.

Thanx everyone, for loving us so much(and all your generosity...JonP will soon have a college fund & he has a brand new all terrain stroller and backpack to ride in) We're so blessed with family and great friends!

My BabyBoy JonP will get his first sacrament this weekend. Everyone around him will think it's such a big deal(AND it is, actually). But, he'll just think he's getting an extra bath for this week.

Pray for him, so he doesn't tinkle in the baptismal font, like he's inclined to do in his bath water.
