JonP was a social bug this weekend. On Thursday, we watched Sofia play basketball and got to play with Daniela. I can't believe how tall Sofia is now. 4th grade and she's already as tall as me and her mom. Daniela is such a crazy girl too. She loves JonP, but wants to squeeze his little legs all the time. She also discovered that she can put her finger into places in Jonp's head.(eyes and ears this time, maybe next time it will be the nose.)
On Saturday, we went to a baby shower. The UW babies were there. JonP got to see Isaiah(March 03) and Mason(May 03). Isaiah was crawling all over the other two boys and JonP was trying to get Mason to growl with him.
 Mason, Isaiah, & JonP(6m, 8m, 7m all 3 were 1month early preemies)
On Sunday, we went to Nathaniel's baptism party. Nathaniel was born exactly 1 month after JonP. Nathaniel's cousin Jonah was there too. Jonah weighed 14 lbs at his 2 month appointment. He was a big heavy boy. Max and JonP played cars, too.
So JonP is getting used to being around kids. There sure are gonna be alot of boys for JonP to run around with...
P.S. Yeah for the Huskies! 6 years in a row. Wear that purple and gold with pride, bobby...

Rain, rain and more rain I thanked God when I got to work without drowning this morning. Standing water on the I-5 on the ship canal bridge. It was yikes! I'm one of those drivers to slow way down in a downpour and grip the steering wheel with white knuckles.
Philip put up this shrink wrap insulation on the windows last night. He asked me if it felt warmer, each time he finished insulating a window. It did feel warmer, but not significantly. I had to remind him that he was sweating because he was physically active and also using a hot blow dryer to shrink wrap. He was too funny...
Time is winding down to Thanksgiving and I can't believe it. JonP is trying to figure out how to crawl and I can't believe he's so big already. Christmas is right around the corner and I can't believe it either.
How time flies, when you think your life is just routine. I'm enjoying our routine though...

Weekend update: Friday night we went food shopping for finger food ingredients. Returned home and watched Finding Nemo. I laughed through it. Ellen DeGeneres's Dori was so funny. Actually, everything was funny. While Philip and Darvin watched or snored through Charlie's Angels Full Throttle, I made wontons.
On Saturday morning, it was house cleaning time. Mom Tessie and Dad Lito showed up while we were still in our PJ's. It was good since they fought over who got to hold JonP and freed me up for some cleaning. I started cooking at a reasonable time. Spam Masubi was easy after Philip showed me how to use the mold correctly. Pupu chicken wings marinated and baked. WonTon fried. We packed up the car with the food. So Philip's 30th Birthday Bowling Bash was great. Mostly family and a few friends. Kuya Joel bowled his best game 220. I think my best game that night was a 36. Sad, huh? My husband was happy, that's all that counted. Later that night JonP entertained everyone at the house by laughing at the empty 2 liter coke bottle.
On Sunday, I had to get to church early to teach First Rec., Dad Lito was in the shower, when I had to be. So I had to ask nicely for him to hurry up...Class, Mass, DimSum, short visit by Junne and Jason, because Junne is forgetful and left her checkbook and camera. The rest of the day we slept.

We had a good birthday dinner at the Sherpa restaurant. Too bad the portions are smaller now. It was hard to order enough to feed us all and the waiter didn't even help.
Tonight's mission: B-day present. Probably new snowboard boots.
