Busy, busy, busy...
I got to go on a shopping spree! It made me kinda happy.
It's so nice to wear clothes that fit...

JonP has been such a momma's boy lately. Crying, crying when I leave to room and even worse crying when I leave him at Lola's house in the morning.
It's gonna be so hard...

Philip and I have been together for 11 years now. We weren't planning on going on a Valentine's date, but mom missed JonP and wanted him to herself.
So, she encouraged us to go.
Movies and Dilettante...pretty nice. My Valentine's presents were good also Harry Connick Jr, Only You and Norah Jones, Feels like Home and of course some chocolates.

I got Philip some special chocolates from Boehm's in Issaquah, and guess what? They're gone already!

Isn't that a cool red wagon? Notice JonP is holding an empty water bottle...It's his favorite toy and the only way we could get him to sit in the wagon w/out crying.

Great Weekend
So it was all for Darv & Stacy this weekend...Everthing just fell into place and it was perfect!

Poor JonP was all set to be one sick little ring bearer. The flower girls all loved his big red wagon and pulled and pushed him down the isle at the rehearsal. We were all feeling excited for the couple. Just beautiful...Kona Kitchen did a great job on their first banquet for the rehearsal dinner. Good times and Aloha that evening. Got my little baba to his lola's house and his temp was 102.2 degrees. We suctioned his snot and gave him some baby tylenol and got him to bed right away...

JonP awoke in good spirits and all signs turned to a successful trip down the isle. Wedding was beautiful, pictures were beautiful, reception was beautiful! We ate and danced the night away. It's hard to explain it, but the day was all about love and it was quite infectious.

On Sunday, I went to church early to teach First Eucharist Prep. We made Trinity bracelets with 3 colors of string. Mass, with a breath of fresh air, Dominican Priest who grew up in the neighborhood and went to my high school. It seemed as if God sent him his homily so he could talk to my brother who was attending mass.
After mass, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BABY SISTER! Not such a baby anymore...Cafe Campagne for a french breakfast and a walk around Pike Place Market. It was a good family outing. When we returned home, we said farewell to Ninong Ray and JonP and I took an almost 3 hr nap. Awoke in time to call the new husband & wife and wish them a Happy Honeymoon and a hello to the dolphins.

This morning I woke up pretty darn tired...Life returns to normal...Amie will be joining us for a swim tonight. Pretty exciting...

That bathroom scale was a great wakeup call for me. Since stepping on it, I've become a little obsessed, actually motivated. I've been working out at home(using TheFirm , except I didn't buy the fanny lifter nor the sculpting stick. I use a rubbermaid step stool, light hand weights and Philip's Eskrima stick. Jayme and I are also back at the pool starting only 2 times a week. Yesterday was the first swim, where I didn't feel like I was sinking. It's time to pick up the pace and have some serious workouts, instead of swimming 100 yds and stopping to catch our breath.

In other news, I'm all caught up in the nuptual celebration of Darv&Stacy this week. We're trying to figure out a way for JonP to get down the isle. If you have any ideas, I'm open to them.
It was so cute to watch Stacy blush while opening her bridal shower gifts. I didn't get her anything to blush about, just something from their registry. But she even blushed at the night gowns the auntie's got her. She's so cute.

And Philip's new nickname is SEXY (it make stacy go "EWWW!)
