Good Things (not martha's list, rather gian's list)
*Straight(& I mean straight) paint line for transition from wall to ceiling. Philip used his laser level he got last Christmas.

*the Clean light on the new dishwasher, that doesn't turn off until you unload. There must be a weight sensor in there...

*JonP playing in his Spongebob pineapple under the sea wading pool, in Lola&PapaJoe's backyard, filled with warm water that Lola fetched from the sink.

*Late night sessions with exercise DVD's. FIRM and Winsor Pilates (I'll add TaeBo later)

*Lap swim on Friday afternoon in a pretty empty pool except for the European guy that wouldn't let this lady join him, cause he wanted a whole lane to himself.

*The playground at Magnuson Park. Nice equipment and not too many kids. Your own kids are less likely to get trampled.

*Little 3 year old Tara, wanting to read the books she recieved as B-day party gifts right away.

*Spellbound the documentary about the national spelling bee.

*The fact that Corn can be steamed in the Microwave in it's husk 2 minutes on each side.

*JonP looking forward to feeding Dioji his bone.

*Neighborhood walks with our little family: Philip, JonP, Dioji and me...

Skirts...
JonP and I ventered over to good 'ol nordy's to pay my bill.
I've been wanting some summer skirts, ever since it was so hot last week. I picked up two in the Jr. dept. I'm lucky they weren't cut so small!

I also got JonP a buddy(can't call him a doll, since JonP's daddy won't let his boy play with dolls)

I let JonP hold him and he said "Hi" Then he put Buddy's hand in his mouth...had to get him...

They really getcha by putting customer service on the third floor.

JonP's poor daddy...
JonP is in a stage. He wants me at his side when I'm around and if I leave the room he starts crying uncontrolably. So, while I was cooking dinner last night, JonP was supposed to be playing in the living room with his daddy. He kept crying and trying to get away from Philip. And when Philip changed his diaper, JonP went into hysterics. Philip finally put him in his crib and let him sleep it off.
Now it's not that JonP doesn't want his daddy around. This morning, when he joined us in our bed, he rolled his daddy over so he could cuddle, but the moment I left the room to get ready for work he cried. and when I was getting ready and not laying down with him on the bed he cries and reaches for me. After, I'd gone and JonP knew I wasn't around he was just fine.

I hope it's not Attachment disorder...

Weekend update
On Friday night we had a little
The Cat in the Hat movie & dinner night with the Austin's. We got a great picture of JonP sitting in Daniela's lap. We still have to work on JonP's love biting. He almost got Daniela a couple of times.

On Saturday, we had a Pendon Family picnic/Sports Day. Kheel's graduation/farewell party too. He's off to basic training in July. Pray for him...We played softball, volleyball, badmitton, waterballoon toss, and frisbee. I totally suck at frisbee and my husband, with his perfect frisbee throw was trying to instruct me. I'm afraid, my throw is just not good enough for his standards. Gotta practice more...

We had father's day brunch at Mojito Cafe. JonP got to play all the percusion instruments. Looks like we should get him a little set of bongo drums. We headed out to B-Town for Madi's 3rd birthday party. It was super hot on Sunday, too hot for the kids to play outside and too hot inside to even chew Jo's BBQ he cooked for Rosque. The best quote of the day, Madi, "It's not your birthday, it's mine, cause you don't have a dress!", after her Tito Rosque teased her that it was his birthday cake not hers.

We missed the cake and the presents, since we left early to celebrate Fr's day with Dad Lito. It was hotter in their house...I insisted they bring down the electric fan, so we wouldn't melt. Dinner at Sizzlers, where we cheated on the All-you-can eat shrimp and salad bar. Later back @ Lolo&Lola's house JonP got naked pictures snapped of him. That's what you get for not cooperating when your diaper is being put back on.

The end of Philip's 2nd Father's day, the ferry ride home(JonP's trying to escape from daddy)

JonP and I spent my Monday off getting the oil changed in my car, then napping because it was so hot. We still need to deal with his love biting since he tried to bite me all day long. One even left a good mark on my stomach. He must love me alot though...

Congrats to my cousin Kheel, who graduated from
SWLHS this weekend. We're proud of you!

Thanks to friendster, I found a long lost friend from grade school. It's good to catch up with someone you have seen in years. Pretty exciting...

While on the ferry ride to B-Town yesterday, Philip saw a young couple enter the unisex bathroom together that our car was parked in front of and exit together after a good 1/2 hour. Hanky Panky on the ferry...My goodness...don't be so cheap, just go rent a room and you'll have all night. The unisex restroom is for changing diapers(like that blowout JonP had on the ferry when he was 4 months old) and for wheelchair passengers that can't go upstairs. I'm such a prude. I asked Philip, if that was the B-Town thing to do, kinda like the mile high club...He said he didn't even know there was a unisex bathroom on the ferry. Too bad they had the old kind of ferry when you guys were teenagers...It was too soon to start the crossing Puget Sound club.

Oh, almost forgot...Happy b-day to rosque the old man...he hides his nieces toys that make too much noise, cause he can't hear the TV. Just wait till he has kids of his own. It's too funny to watch him try to disipline Madi when it isn't necessary and then watch her stand and give him a frown and then jump on him and tickle him. Way to go Madi...
Gosh, JonP thinks Madi is so cute, he was so excited she came over to play with him, he bit her(out of love), spilled her milk all over her, and just kept grabbing her.

New Beginnings, Paint Crew, Esquire Brunch, & little booger butt
I've seen people love and not let go. They hold on even when the love is unhealthy, actually rotting and can't really be called love anymore. It's probably the ugliest situation to witness. On the flip side of that...to witness you love and let go is truely an act of courage. I really admire your strength through it all. Congratulations on your new beginning. The future is yours. {heart u}
JonP had fun with all the kids and the dogs running around. Although Simba was curious and tasting the kids, he got used to them by the end of the night. His cousin Bugsy was pretty smart...Parked his butt, underneath the table where JonP was eating and gobbled up all the stuff JonP spit out and threw on the ground, pure genius.

JonP got dropped off at Lola's house early Saturday morning. The paint crew (Philip and me), started bright and early. I prepped and primed the trim in the dining room(I hate doing this, I really just wanted to paint), Philip painted the living room a vibrant turquioseish color. JonP's lola called @ 5pm and asked when we're gonna come get the kid, since she hadn't showered yet. Where did the day go? It's still a work in progress, but at least we have progress.

JonP had good mass attending manners on Sunday. Despite pooping on the way to church, he sat with us up front and I didn't have to take him to the back at all.
After Church, we attended a brunch in honor of Marissa adding Esq. to the end of her name. I used to babysit this girl and now she's practicing the law. Passed that W.S. BAR exam on her first try...Good food and great view at Salty's, looking forward to Janet&Fel in August. Stacy needed her good asian food/chocolate fix. So more eating for us that evening. I witnesses Dobo gobble up a Big milkbone faster than Soloman.

On Monday, all my little booger butt wanted to do was have his mommy hold him. He got jealous of the attention I was giving our sink full of dirty dishes. It means he loves me lots though. And I sure love that little booger butt too.

Weekend update...a bit late since it's already the middle of the week...

Just me and JonP last weekend. JonP's daddy sat in the airport all day on Friday, trying to get to Vegas early. Too bad...
Got to escort my friend wedding dress shopping. It was like having a human barbie doll. Imma gonna be in the wedding next year on the Big Island. pretty cool, but I told her, by then she might have a buntis attendant. We'll see...

JonP and I dropped off Lola, Papa Joe, & A. Jayme at their boat early Saturday morning and then went back home to sleep somemore. We then ventured out to Mason's 1st B-day party, where I chased JonP around. They also had a clown that did a magic show, painted faces, had a parachute and beach balls to play with, and made JonP a balloon Monkey. Poor balloon monkey only lasted 1 minute, cause JonP gave him a love bite and then all we had left was a monkey face...my little boy slept good that night, cause he wore himself out.

On Sunday, we attempted to attend mass, but we spent most of our time running and yelling in the vestibule(in the back of the church) Everytime we'd go back in, JonP would want to run around and hear his echo.
The rest of the day, we went to Dani's house and JonP and her played and dumped all her toys out on the floor. We also went to Greenlake where they rode in the red wagon and played at the playground.

Philip returned at 3:30AM Monday morning while JonP was sleeping. At a more decent hour, JonP awoke before us and discovered his daddy sleeping next to him. He hugged and patted him and laughed out of happiness...
