Merci et Au revoir... Today was our last day of classe de francaise. I'm lame because I didn't study very well during class, thus didn't have a lot of questions to ask. I have 2-3 months to learn what was taught...yup, looks like this girl will be back in Paris sometime in January. At least I know more now than before we started class.
The good thing is that my schedule goes back to normal. I don't have to stay too late now and if I get my butt in here at a decent time...I can be home in the afternoon(instead of evening) and my boys and I can go on walks again.
I'm excited to be preparing for the holidays now. JonP's second Christmas should be so much fun!
Philip has something new to look forward to. Good thing we get 6-8 weeks to raise the moola for it.
I'm looking forward to a little down time. I'm so tired of this business.

This reminds me of my feelings toward my Dad Lito and others who's true beliefs and way of life does not match the way they vote. If only they'd see the light and open their minds. They could know the truth too...
Republican Switchers WHY REPUBLICANS ARE SWITCHING FROM BUSH TO KERRY and why you, and the conservatives you love, should vote for Kerry, too!

Embarassing... I brought JonP in to the Dr's office for his Weight checkup. When we got off the elevator, he recognized the place and remembered they had some toys there he liked to play with. He was screaming, "Yeah! Yeah!" and walking with me holding on to my hand with one hand, and pumping his other arm in a fist out and in with his yeah's.
When we got to the waiting area, he started screaming even louder, "YEEEEEY-AAAAHHH!" because he saw kids and toys to play with. One little 4 year old boy looked so scared of JonP. I had to explain that he wasn't yelling at him because he was angry, but that JonP was excited that he gets to play with him.
I had people looking at me like, "Why can't you control that tiny little boy." or others telling me, "Wow, he's so excited. He's gonna be a singer."
He weighed in and the good news is that he's grown alot both in weight and height and his growth curve is headed up toward the 5th percentile curve. It's the first time the Dr. is happy with his weight.
JonP quieted down alot after we left the injection room. He was stunned from the two shots he got in his leg.
Gosh, just imagine what it's gonna be like when we have another one. We'll have our hands full for sure.

This is just too cool: // knitPro is a web application that translates digital images into knit, corchet, needlepoint and cross-stich patterns.
Do you want some logo leg warmers or mittens?

Emotional... This Primetime Live show, ABC News: Injured Iraq Vets Come Home to Poverty, triggered tears last night. My heart hurt and sadness for my fellow americans took over. After the program, I told Philip that I've had enough of war and politics for the night, I was pretty much drained of the subject. But Philip flipped channels and stopped on this: frontline: the choice 2004 | PBS. By the end of that program, I had tears streaming down my face and seriously needed a hug. Philip and I had a good conversation during all these programs. How you can tell a person's character by their looks. We've noticed how the physical features of George W's face has changed in four years, not only him, but other's, i.e. Colin Powel. They looked hardened. Power & Control have changed him. In my opinion, evil has taken over. Afterall, War is a result of evil. Evil spreads more evil. ...->911->retaliation->Afganistan->death->Iraq->more death... and even before 911, evil was present. It's all just overwhelming. AND George W wants to continue on that evil path. This election really scares me...
Next Philip, flipped the channel to MXC(Takeshi's Castle) and I was crying from laughing.
...Lord, please help our world.

Supersticious TROIS I was talking to Philip about 3 year spans of alternating bliss and challenge in our lives. It seems that the three years we've been married, we've just been in total bliss, in love with eachother, in love with our life and in love with our family, esp... JonP (Sorry almie for sharing my bliss with you ;-) Read on please it gets better) Just like clockwork the next phase of our lives starts...Since our 3 year anniversary, things have gotten a bit more challenging. We're still just in love with all of the above, BUT...Work has picked up, requiring weeks away from eachother and later days at work. Dioji's challenging us, the house is challenging us, the world is challenging us, life is challenging period. Things are getting to me when they didn't bother me before. For instance, the current adminstration in our country is sucking up the souls of the people that live here. I'm totally serious when I say that THEY ARE BRAINWASHING us and using their power to become richer than they already were. I have more to say, I'll save it for the VOTING booth on November 2.
SO...I know that GOD is challenging us for the next couple of years, but will also be right by our sides through it all.
In other news, I've been taking french lessons at work this month. Right now we're learning numbers and time related stuff. I've been practicing my numbers while commuting. Reading license plate numbers aloud in french. It's kinda dangerous though. I hope I learn these numbers before I get in an accident.
Bon Weekend!(Mon Professor said that they say "Weekend" in france too!)

I used to think I was silly for poking my baby and other babies in my care while they were sleeping, just to make sure they're still ok. Gosh, I even do it to our dog sometimes. Prayers and love go out to Baby Ruben's family. My heart broke for them when I saw them last night. I admire his parents for their good spirits. It seems that they feel blessed to be in Baby Ruben's life even if it was for a short time. He's with God now... Rest in Peace Baby Ruben. You're a precious angel.

I wanted to make JonP a Jawa for Halloween. Philip talked me out of this idea. He felt that just a Jawa Robe would not be enough, and JonP would never stand to have mini glo sticks stuck to his forhead.
Maybe next year...
