Thanksgiving...

We sat around the table holding hands and sharing what we were thankful for. At the moment, I was thankful for the gift of life and for my family.

I needed that long weekend away from any thoughts of work...

Sadness has again entered our lives and I pray for one particular family as they wade through this difficult time. They truely deserve happiness to replace their turmoil. There are many questions for GOD. but in the end, I know HE will carry them through it all.

Family is a funny thing, they can drive you crazy, but love is always present. Mom's house was packed full of family and love. JonP went from uncle to aunt to cousin to lola to lolo. At bedtime all he wanted was his mama and daddy.

We were eucharistic ministers at another beautiful and fun wedding.
Congrats to Barb & Derwynn!

This week and coming weekend will be tough to get through. Pray for Beth as she joins God.

-g

I was just thinking, it's funny that JonP's first words are:

"Yeah!"(this goes along with a pumping fist)
"Wow!"
and the newest one..."COO(l)!"

He's such a guy...but he likes to sit up on the dresser with me while I'm putting on my makeup...He likes to use the makeup brushes on his face...

I don't think his daddy will approve.

I'm totally beat from this weekend. Started out pretty good, but work interferred.

Went to a Parol making workshop on Saturday that was pretty fun...It was just a long time to be away from my boys.

Congrats to the Funtanillas' on their baby girl...(I want one too!)

Watch out! JonP's found his appetite and when he's hungry he's mean and demanding and he gobbles up his food like there will be none tomorrow. He's changed from spitting things out to a little PacMan. I hope this lasts.

Happy week to you...

I think I'm recovered from my weekend now.
Partying is hard work.
My husband had a great birthday party and Barb had a great bachelorette party, also.
I caught up on sleep on the ferry ride to B-town on Sunday.
Kids eat free at Tony Roma's on Sundays.
JonP and I had our mama/baba day on Monday, but I think he picked up a little stomach bug when we went to the clinic to pick up my perscription.
We sold Philip's old futon for $50. Now our former office/guest room that needed serious clean sweeping, is our office/junk room
I hope we find time for some clean sweeping of our own before Thanksgiving. A trip to
IKEA is needed once again.

Today's my husband's birthday!

I'm never full of surprises...good thing Philip isn't a surprise kind of guy either.
He knew about his birthday party, he knows who's coming, he knows what kind of cake I got him, we went to get his gift together.
He chose a memory foam matress pad for his gift. See...even when he's picking something for himself, I benefit also.

I dreamt sweet dreams last night and kissed my husband Happy Birthday when he woke up this morning, then went back into a heavenly sleep.

Elephantshoes Philip.

Oh MAN!

I'm seriously depressed today.

It was a good effort on
John Kerry's behalf, but I'm afraid the majority of the country love's their lives in ignorant bliss.

Four more years of...I don't even want to think about it.

My life will go on and we'll all find a way to cope.

too sad...
