Dear San Carlos Resident,

My reasons for seeking a seat on the San Carlos School Board are simple. I want each and every child in our community to become the finest person he or she can be and I believe this is best accomplished by providing a strong public education.

If elected, I am committed to challenging the status quo and driving change when necessary. At the foundation of all inquiries is the commitment to the students of our district and respect for our teachers, administrators, parents, and community. I will work collaboratively with fellow Board members to provide leadership and vision that arises from an understanding of our students, our district, and our community.

I will work to strengthen public trust through sound financial management, accountability, tranparency and through open and regular communications with the community. In this manner, the board can become a stonger advocate for our schools at the local level of government and within our community.

As a parent of two sons at Central Middle School who has worked to bring about improvements, I see our district's potential and will work diligently to bring the best educational opportunities to the students of San Carlos.

This is not a presidential election so voting day will not be as well publicized. Mark your calendar TODAY so you remember to vote.

• Yard signs

If you would like to support my campaign, please consider posting a lawn sign in your yard, Contact me at 598-9870 or leave a message with your name, address and phone number and a sign will appear on your doorstep.

• Financial support
To help fund the cost of signs, brochures, and mailing, please consider making a donation to the campaign. For contributions of $99 or less, please provide your name, address, and phone. For contributions of more than $99, state election law requires the committee to collect and report the name, address, occupation, and name of employer (if self-employed, the name of your business). Contributions are not tax deductible.
