The
Paul Rugg
Gallery!

Though I never originally intended to create an image gallery--Paul isn't, after all, quite a supermodel--as I found more and more images scattered widely about the web, I thought it best to collect them into a single location. Hence, on the 4th of September (1999), The *Paul Rugg* Gallery was born!

So, here, in descending order, is something of a visual record of Rugg:

(105k total, JPEG)Paul's cameo in "The Country Bears". Eight cropped screengrabs straight from the DVD! (© Disney, I'd assume).

(15.4k JPEG)A not-so-flattering pic of Paul as Manny hanging out the window of his new 30-foot motor home from Amid Amidi's article in the the Sept. 1999 issue of "Animation World Magazine" (© the Walt Disney Company).

(63.5k JPEG)One of two photos taken of the Friday, May 28th, 1999 filming of the "Manny's America" premiere segment in R.E. St. John Stadium with the Rangerettes of Kilgore College (© Kilgore College).

(44.4k JPEG)The other (also © Kilgore College).

(65.7k JPEG)Paul as Manny in his green-screened set from Jeff Sengstack's article in the December 1997 issue of "NewMedia" (No © given, but I'd guess it'd be The Walt Disney Company, again).

(73.5k GIF)Paul and his laptop in his WBA office and a pic from AOL's "Kid's WB" area, as seen in Brett Roger's "Freaking Out with Paul Rugg" article (available for perusing from the "Links" page) from the Fall 1996 issue of "Animato!" (© 1996 Warner Bros.).

336k AVIOur first movie! Clipped from a promo for the then-upcoming "Freakazoid!" (as available, in avi form, from the official "F!" site), this quick (1.6 sec) video features Paul laughing from script. Note that the audio track may be a bit out-of-sync as it and the video were spliced together from two files of slightly different lengths (© 1995 Warner Brothers, I'd assume).
(38.3k JPEG)A tri-panel photo of the writers/story editors of "Animaniacs" taken by Alan Levenson for Jack Mason's article in the August 1994 issue of "i.e." (now "twx"). I believe that's Paul in the back with the mallet, though he's obscured or cut-off 2/3 of the time. (© I'm not sure, but it's probably someone I've just mentioned)
(Collection, JPEG)A collection of screen grabs from 1985's "I.F.O (Identified Flying Object)", featuring Paul as scientist "John Ferguson". (© 1985 IFO Productions, Inc. Or is "I.F.O" in the public domain, now?)
(2.66 megs AVI)Our second movie! Paul in "I.F.O" again, this time pinned to a wall (as "Rem" zaps his brain), and reciting Gilbert and Sullivan (more or less). (Note: You may need to download/install "mpeg4x.zip") (© Same as above)

And remember, our incredible simulation of the now-kaput "Manny Stuff" has plenty of additional Manny images should this leave you unsatisfied ;)
