This weekend I found a piece of history on the web. If you have ever enjoyed of The Goon Show, a BBC radio show from the 1950s, then you'll enjoy this. It's a 10-minute video of part of one Goon Show ("The Whistling Spy Enigma") being recorded in 1954. These shows were recorded on a stage with a live audience, the cast just reading from scripts - you'll see what I mean. The main cast seen here are (L to R) Peter Sellers, Ray Ellington, Harry Secombe, and Spike Milligan.

Welcome to my new, completely redesigned, site. It was long overdue, the old one had become a constant embarrassment to me. Please take some time to look over the various pages here. There are a few features I am still not happy with, primarily the Contact page, which runs on Javascript (I didn't write it), and the menu bar could use a little tweaking, but otherwise it's a go.

Wherever you are, just down the block or somewhere across the world, I would appreciate hearing your comments and suggestions via the Contact page.
