RESEARCHER—SACRED CHANTING LEADER— Dr. Sovatsky
is a world expert in kundalini yoga, having authored two books and many
articles on the subject. He is Vice President of International Kundalini
Research, founded by Gopi Krishna, and Board Member to Georg Feuerstein's
Yoga Research Institute, and Co-President of the Association for Transpersonal
Psychology. Currently he co-laborates with Robert Thurman in preparation
for the Indic Global Renaissance Conference sponsored by the Infinity
Foundation. Dr. Sovatsky has presented his research nationally and in
India, has trained 100s of therapists in his method of couples counseling/mediation
and was one of the first certified Teacher of Teachers of the Enneagram
for Helen Palmer. He is degreed in Religion from Princeton University
and Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies where
he is on faculty, a Board Trustee, and was a recent candidate for its
Presidency. He has written numerous book chapters and professional articles,
$300,000 in human service grants and, most recently, a successful $15million
business plan for an eco-sensitive live/work complex in the Bay Area.

Stuart
Sovatsky has been quietly pioneering the application of East/West spiritualities
to a wide variety of social problems for some 30 years. He has worked
successfully with the most impoverished and the wealthiest families /couples
in the US, with gang members, police officers, spiritual leaders, and
CEOs. Dr. Sovatsky is the marriage saver/transformer with dozens of families
happily and proudly saved from the pain of divorce.He authored the first
Federally-funded public schools meditation project in the US in 1975 and
created prenatal yoga and juvenile "lock-up" yoga courses back
in 1977. He was first choice to clinically direct Ram Dass' experimental
"prison ashram" in 1977and since 1983 has directed the first-ever
"spiritual emergence" service in the world founded by L. Sannella,
M.D., in 1976.
