| PC99 NOTES |
| |
|
| by Ted Peterson |
| | This program transfers programs and files from the TI home computer to the PC type of computer. This is a group of small items that works with this program. There will be new items added each week. By 7-8 we will have a article on how to transfer TI programs from your TI to your PC. |
|---|
| | | . |
| | BOOT (MENU) |
|---|
| | | There are a number of different versions of the "Boot" program for the TI. |
| | I transferred my main Boot program with TI-Base, BA Writer, etc. on it but without the TI Base program on the Boot list. It works OK but when I tried to SAVE the change to the Boot program it would not save. |
| | I then transferred another version over to the pc and overwrote the first one. This new version would save like it should. |
| | Try your copy and if it does not work, try another version. |
| | The "Menu" program is the same program as "Boot". It will come with your copy of ram disks |
| | . |
| | DM 1000 |
| | On some version of DM1000 you can only catalog one disk per time. If you try to catalog a 2nd disk it will not work. You have to go completely out and come back in again. With PC99 this will take almost no time. |
| | . |
| | Printing |
| | When you ask the pc to print a file or program , the computer first has to go through the TI printing operation and then the PC printing operation. This will take from 10-20 seconds. Do not give up as it will work. |
